why sorry? he was cruel wasn't he? well, i picked him because of the h́nh phạt "xẻo thịt" đến chết. I think it's very nasty because it's make you die một cách chậm chạp, từ từ trong đau đớn. Mỗi một tiếng trống vang lên là một người sẽ cầm một con dao xẻo một miếng thịt trong người ḿnh ra và xẻo dần dần cho đến khi chết. Nếu họ xẻo thịt ở chân, tay, hay mặt ḿnh th́ ḿnh đâu có chết, nhưng chịu cảnh đau trong suốt vài tiếng như vậy thà cắn lưỡi tự tử cho xong.
but there are many other bad/cruel kings.

but he was cruel to his enemies and criminals; he didn't kill just for fun.
but yeah. that was cruel from your description. i'd use that punishment to the hàn and đài loan for lừa con gái Việt. may be a little more harsher.

I wondering like Viet know China's history more than our own history. Is it because of Chinese movie influence or our history just as not impressive as China!

I don't know what school you go to but in Vietnam, there is no such a thing as "international history" course like I see in the U.S; in Vietnam only Vietnamese history is taught.
