How can we young people who were born after 1975 on both sides reconcile and rebuild Vietnam?
Do you make friends of the people on the other side?
Friendship is an important step to reconciliation and rebuilding.
People in Vietnam born after 75 have no problems with anyone. It's the hard core young "yellow flaggies" who parrot what their parents have told them who need to chill out.
If young overseas care about Vietnam, then the best thing they can do is put away their yellow flag and invest in Vietnam and help her grow economically and help develop infrastructure and hopefully good governance will develop and then the Vietnamese people will be in a position to want democracy.
They Vietnamese community here in Houston and in other places throughout out is very successful and collectively, they can make an positive impact.
But waving the yellow flag is a useless, futile, and antagonistic exercise.
