street vendors, the MET, Moma, subway system, public transportation, shea stadium, korean town, soho, and the culture there, breakdancers performing in the street during the winter, time square
broadway...soho galleries, small upstart boutiques, chinatown
...and union square street markets and fairs.
cony island...jeez...there's so much places...like williamsburg...little italy...nolita, south east seaport with the docks and cobblestone classic streets.
bryant park and their out door movie theater where you can watch movies and picnic.
the fashion district where all these textiles companies, and upstart companies...
flushing where you can eat vietnamese pho...korean bbq, soon dubu
bayterrace shopping mall...in eastern queens, forest hills' austen street...
morningside heights and columbia university district.

Too many things -- for others though, like myself, I never got attached to NYC. I've gone down there three times but except for the energy of the city, there is nothing I like more than Toronto.

Being a born and raised New Yorka --- i'd miss a ton. Most of all the character of the city and its people.

Yeah I agree, It has a certain character and feel. Whenever I leave NY I miss it so much. And it's so funny, I always get taken aback by how nice people are outside of NY.

It makes me self-conscious being outside of NY because I look at everyone and then I look at myself and think "damn I'm so rude" but when I'm back in NY I'm completely normal.

eating pho with a side of mandoo served by Korean owners and waitstaff...
aside from the city sights and spots itself, id miss the people. i love the attitudes!

shopping, food, nightlife, and the conveniency of not soley depending on a car to get around..and of course REAL PIZZA.

The villages, the Chinatowns, the parks, being out in the middle of the night where stores and restuarants are still open...I def will not miss the winters and pollution!

Going into the subway and seeing a upper-class business man standing next to a hobo waiting for the train. Classic and always gives me a smile.
