Meaning everything, why do we as Asians find it sohard to break out and voice our own opinions.I love being a Asian. It's like we are afraid to speak up on things. We have the same beliefs as our parents and to many are old out of date and outlandish.Such as race relations.I use to think American white people were racist and presumptuous, but Asians are by far the worst offenders of this.As I read some of these polls and forums I can't believe some of the things I am reading. We must stop prejudging other cultures and get to know them,we are not on this earth by
ourselves,we as Asians discriminate against darker Asians, why. If you want to obtain true knowledge
you must seek it from everyone and everywhere.I was reading poll"who would you marry first"how shallow is that.We are taught to stick with are own,and that's all nice, would you really pass up happiness.
If you would, what does that say for you.Culture is great, but you can't let it affect every aspect of your life.I would never advocate the leaving of tradition, just the opening up of one's mind.Try it next time you prejudge someone get to know them I am sure you will make a friend or a least see a different perspective.
