Okay let's say time-traveling is possible. If there is one era in Vietnamese history you can visit or live in, which would you choose?

i really want to go back during the early Nguyen's dynasty, i will bring back 10,000 machine guns plus 20,000 rocket launchers. I will donate it to the Nguyen's Dynasty so they can blow all those French out of the water when they try to invade Vietnam

Sorry to be the party pooper, but the possibility to manipulate time is too great. I would go back to when Ho was real small and maybe send a bullet through his head. Or how about when he worked as French Cook. It would save Vietnam a lot of future grief!
The period I would like to live in...hmmmmm...hard to say since Vietnam haven't enjoyed peace and freedom at the same time....

I'd like to go back and seek tutelage from Nguyen Du and maybe get him to change Kie^`u to Trang hehehe. Kidding, I do admire his loyalty to the Le dynasty though, he was forced to serve in the Nguyen court but he hoped for Le restoration until the end.
