I don't know if this has been posted, but you guys would like what this article has to say. The 21st century will be an Asian one.

SERIOUSLY? ... wow but Thailand is ahead of Vietnam though. Eefore a couple of years ago it was waay behind Vietnam.

Vietnam poverty rate has dropped dramatically. The reduction rate is double the rate of the region. United Nation gave $ to Vietnam to cut poverty rate by half by 2010. Vietnam already cut it by half by 2000

. Vietnamese life expectancy has risen to ~72. Educational system is not good though, but still 94% of people are literate.
