Who is getting the Vista one it comes out? There will be 6 editions of it (Home, Business, Ultimate, ect..) you can read the info on it via http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Vista

Some sites have estimated the price if Windows Vista Ultimate Edition to be $450. And if $450 is not enough for you, Office 2007 Ultimate is estimated to be $650+. Of course the ultimate versions are the priciest editions, but don't count that you can buy anything from the changes in your car.

Vista is looking like it's heading downhill, and I believe it is. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of memory you need to run Vista.

1gb memory isn't that ridiculous lol. Anyways i'm going to definately wait a few months after vista comes out for microsoft to work out all the glitches. Be cool to have a nice 3d interface but i'm not gonna go crazy over it.

Isn't ridiculous? It's 1GB. I'm sure people will buy Vista even though their computers can barely handle it.

i have 1g. pretty standard if you play computer games

vista needs 1gb, but the good pc's with the vista os will be 2gb+

well u need vista to play some directx10 games.

all games coming out within the nest few years will pretty much need vista, since it supports dx10. talked to some ppl who have the beta and so far the news is lots of bugs, hangups, and crashes. but at least its pretty.

You're gonna have to wait a long time. Windows xp has been out for half a decade, and there's only service pack 2.

For me right now, the problem isn't windows vista, the problem is to get a computer that can handle vista.

Are they gonna make the disc HD or blu ray? Cause I heard that vista is 15GB, and dvd's don't do the job.

one cool thing about firefox is that u can install scripts and download various $hit live embedded swf(flash stuff), flv(from youtube:P), embedded music(even ones streamed from microsoft.com, note: dont ask me for the script because u will get in trouble for digital rights managment stealing)
