Remember the models that were being chosen for the new Parliamentary House? Out of the four, the one that did not get many votes was "Luon Song Ben Song", that simple rectangle with waves for a roof, WELL, it was chosen for construction. Grrr.
Here's a frontal view:

Anyhoo. NQSH posted the four models that were being voted on to be Viet Nam's new Parliamentary House. The one that didn't receive many votes from the members of this forum turned out to be the one that was chosen!

The second one is nice. Stupid, why do they choose to build that spiky thingy.
drunk_on_tea
Yah, I have no idea why those spikes are there. Oh heavens, it sure doesn't spell power. icon_smile.gif

So they picked the 3rd one huh? Darn it, they picked the ugliest model I have ever seen. LOL.

What's with the wavy roofs? What is that supposed to mean?

I should have just summited my design. LOL.

And the national monument.

Hehhehe... the monument is a two tower joined together at the top to make a rainbow. It's going to symbolize everything under harmony and peace. It [the rainbow] represents a new age of prosperity after years wars and poverty, like a rainbow coming out after a thunderstorm.

It's about 1 mile high. And the base of 750 feet in diameter.

Yup, 5280 feet above ground level.
