Have any of you other Viets ever been called "g@@k" before?
It's all because of that stupid movie Platoon. A few days ago this guy asked me what my ethnicity is. So I told him and he said "so you're a g@@k, huh".
Needless to say, I had to put him in a headlock

Here in AF, Cambodians actually use the word against Vietnamese. lol they actually think they are upper class white people and think they can call us g@@ks. They are worse. lol

Yes, Hmong people are Asians. The Hmong people themselves are divided among three or four ethnic groups using colors. The ones I know of are: white Hmong, green Hmong, and stripe. The colors DON'T refer to skin, although white Hmong people tend to be lighter than green.

Thats true some white people don't know that asians have a variety of enthicities. They assume that Asia is all chinese or something? Like a white person coming up to you and say" Are you chinese?" when your really not. I get that all the time and Im not chinese. It pisses me off.. haha but I guess its hard to tell the difference between korean, chinese, vietnamese and japanese anyways.
