VietNamNet Bridge – Organisers of the Miss Vietnam contest have announced the list of the final 34 competitors for the crown.

These candidates were selected from various preliminary contests nationwide. At the beginning the pageant was expected to draw the participation of six overseas Vietnamese girls who had won in different beauty contests in other countries, thus making the total number of candidates 40. But as announced by organisers yesterday, no overseas Vietnamese candidate had registered to run for the Miss Vietnam title.

However, Miss Vietnam in the US 2005 Pham Thien Trang will be the special guest of the pageant.

Organisers of the contest also invited Jennifer Pham, Miss Asia in the US 2006, to participate in a talk show with candidates and audience members, but they said she had not replied.

Miss opportunity?

Probably too fat and too photoshopped (plastic surgery)? Surely not enough/not at all Vietnamese?

Any photos?

PHam Thien Trang is ugly. She was a model in Vietnam and just came to the United States.

There should be a rule against plastic surgery in beauty pageants.
