[font=Century Gothic]My bf and I are checking around what state would be great to visit for a 3 to 4 days trip.

Anyone that lives in the local area, can you give tell me where all the hot spots for 25- 35 age group around the Miami or Seattle area? Places for sight seeing, shopping, restaurants, hotels and night scenes with reasonable and decent price range and areas that I should avoid. Or any other suggestions are appreciated.
kunomchu
I haven't been to either but if I had to choose, I would pick miami...

Miami is like a place to get drunk and let go of inhibitions. Great night life. biggthumpup.gif

Choose Miami. My uncle actually wants to go to Miami. There's nothing in Seattle. I should know. *hint *hint. Aside the Needle.

Yep, Miami.

Nothing in Seattle. I should know, too. I live here. embarassedlaugh.gif

Well, there is stuff to do in Seattle, day or night.

Just not as much as in Miami from what I gather. embarassedlaugh.gif

It's a no brainer especially this time of year. I mean South Beach? Come on. @$$, THIGHS, CURVES.. There's plenty of site seeing.. beerchug.gif

okay...you get alki beach, north seattle (racists), south seattle (ghetto), west seattle (semi-ghetto), seattle center, pike place market, nothing interesting.........

Bellevue's more interesting. And so is Richmond (better Chinatown)/Vancouver (smallville/stargate series film there) B.C.

hahaha.

I'm from TX, we need to get away from this dry hot weather. So if we were to visit Washington, Bellevue or Richmond would have more things to see and do? What about Miami area? Thanks for the all input everyone.

Khunomchu - Interesting, my bf plays Days of Defeat. That game is addicting.

If you go to Seattle go to the haunted bridges in Alki Beach. My boys saw a ghost girl in a dress chasing after their car. There's also a haunted rainbow house that supposedly changes colors in Alki.

No, fat women just lakc the confidence in their bodies to go to places where you basiclly use your physical form as a goddamn trophy. Did that ever cross your mind?

No, this isn't about Alpha males so drop the AMOG tactics. Your name just makes you seem like someone I would want to mess with. Plus you're a AF Police so +points.

Miami is fu-king kickin, very cosmopolitan city. There's a street, I forgot its name, but it's filled with nightclubs. Go with a bunch of chicks or you might have a hard time getting into one.

I thought this subject is to talk about trip to Miami or Seattle......but I made up my mind I decided to travel somewhere within Texas...like San Antonio. Thanks for the input. ;o)
emakaroni1
haha.. San Antonio?

Well for others who want to know about Miami there are the beaches, the clubs, boat tours(they tell you about where ppl like P.Diddy live or Rosie O'donnell etc etc) you can do that at bayside which also has shops and such http://www.baysidemarketplace.com/html/, and alot of diversity. Lots of different kind of Latin cuisines. And many different kinds of buffet. If your willing to go up to Fort Lauderdale they have a big Mills mall I think it is or was the largest outlet mall http://www.sawgrassmillsmall.com They have the Hard Rock Cafe and Seminole Casino there with some shops and restaurants. http://www.seminolehardrockhollywood.com/
Going back to Miami there is south beach with the beach with a park, versace mansion, lots of bars, clubs and restaurant then lincoln road for more the dating scene with outdoor restaurants some shops and ice cream places like Parmalat Gelato or Ghiradelli's fountain shop and live music on the weekend and farmer's market there. http://www.southbeach-usa.com/shopping/lin...ad-shopping.htm

I've never been to Seattle, tho I've heard Seattle is coffee and chinese food! Lots of rain too right?
SilenceAngel
It rains a lot in the fall and maybe winter. The only thing I like about living in WA is that everything is so green and Fall is beautiful. Seattle is not as glamourous as most people think. It has a few skyscapers, the streets are not that clean, and there's not much to do during the fall/winter time (excluding winter sports). Belluvue is pretty nice though. It's a new city so you can expect it to be very pretty and clean.
