^Your comp is just slow...lol Came up instantly for me.

I've only liked two viet songs, Nu Hong Mong Manh and Em Van Can Anh. I can't get into Viet music cause it's always too slow and sounds like a Chinese karaoke type of song. Then, you have the really fobby 80's techno type fast songs. I've tried to appreciate Viet songs, but I just can't. I have asked my friend to introduce me to some more modern pop music from Vietnam, but we'll see how that goes. This song is nice though but wish it wasn't so sluggish.

Actually I don't like a lot of vietnamese songs either. What kind of music do you like? I'll recommend some songs especially for you icon_redface.gif

EDIT: Xin Loi if I sounded rude for what I wrote on my first post.

I totally agree with you. It's so disappointing. I wish I had musical talent to make a difference but unfortunately I don't icon_wink.gif Maybe in my next life embarassedlaugh.gif

I was doing a search on youtube on vnese pop and I found this.. although the music is still horrible but at least their dancing has improved somewhat... at least their dance steps doesn't look like aerobics anymore laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

?? how can u like it if you don't understand it? or maybe just like the music?

and also, nu hong mong manh is chinese melody.
Mizz_Luv3r
I understand quite a bit. Whatever else that I don't, I ask about it. I loved the way Tu Quyen sings it, the lyrics and the instrumental all goes together. I had my phase of being around Viets, so I just pick up on the language.
Sirikittong
Kap koon na krap {Thank you} for the link, So cal. Even though I cant understand what they're saying--I like the tone and the musical background. Vietnamese music sounds good.

Dear Sirikittong, Dear Mizz_Luv3r, Dear VietPunk, Dear All icon_smile.gif

It will be so awesome if we can listen to the ASEAN music of different songs in different languages. That will be so cool.

Sirikittong
Dude someone should start a thread like that. Like a thread that has songs from Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar and Singapore.
