VNECONOMY updated: 27/05/2004
Vietnam Airlines has concluded a US$150 million credit contract with the ABN Amro Bank NV and the Bank of Natexis Banque Populaires to cover its purchase of three A321 aircrafts.
The contract was signed in London on May 25 by Nguyen Xuan Hien, general director of Vietnam Airlines, Tim Eggar, President of the ABN Amro Bank and M Comick, representative of the Natexis Banque Populaires.
The signing was witnessed by Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan, who is accompanying President Tran Duc Luong on a visit to the UK.
The purchase of three A321s will help Vietnam Airlines increase the capacity of its fleet to meet the growing demand of air services in the country now as well as in the future.
===================================================
Vietnam Airlines is the fastest growing airline in the region and among the fast growing airlines in the world. The speed of growth is a wonder and the quality improvement is amazing. I flew with Vietnam Airlines 3 months ago and let me tell you the stewardesses were sooooooo pretty in Ao' dai`.

Juvies!!! U should stop being a tool for the commie's broken propaganda-machine.
Points:
1. Who financed the Airbus deals? A France group? Done! No comments!
2. Why did VN Air buy Airbus? VN cannot borrow from American. Because Airbus is technologically better? Maybe. Becasue Airbus is cheaper? No. Because that the only place they can buy from? YES. Think dude! THINK!
3. Who fly for VN Air? Only drunk French pilots fly cheap!
4. VN girls in Áo Dài are beautiful anywhere, anytime. Look around you during Tết celebrations if you are in US, Canada, Ausie, Paris, Berlin or even Saigon Hà Nội. Ahhhh, the hostesses of VN Air are beautiful as well, but most of them are so stucked up and ignorant that it hurts from laughing at them. Just b'cuz they are relatives of officials (remember the rampant corruptions!?) they gain employments in a "once prestigious" airlines. They don't make an airline!
I don't remember the commies ever flew anywhere before they took over in '75. I remember VN Airlines' HQ was in Saigon, yes?. They used to dig tunnels, they carved trails, they used bikes, they carried their swinging baskets.
So stop saying things that sound like grinding klunks of a broken machine!!!! It's over!!!
I love VN, I love my people, but I desite the freaking commies that ruined it for years.
