Hi there, I'm currently studying on a major historical personality and event in modern history and I decided to do Pol Pot. ATM I really can't find any detailed information about the genocide. If you have any links that would be greatly appreciated.
Ofcourse, I would love to hear your opinions on Pol Pot too.
Hi,
You came into the right place and time, if you are study about the genocide now I highly suggest you go to the section "Vietnamese Hidden faces Behind the Killing Fields" and and tell the West how it really happen and I hope this would change some viewer opinions. And for yourself it would be a great knowledge.

^Very true.
After the first wave of Khmer Rouge attacks in 1977 Hanoi offered the KR leadership a negotiated peace through diplomacy, off course the Khmer Rouge refused and continued to push into VietNamese territory. Using military force was the last resort to ensure the safety of VietNamese borders so the armed forces of VietNam launched the war against the Khmer Rouge in 1978.
The occupation of Cambodia eventually retarded the recovery of VietNam's economy and set Cambodia back several decades, that ugly episode cost both countries dearly.
Sorry but peace from the Vietnamese is dirty and nasty and your version of the invasion are from hanoi education.

I personally admire him for his patriotism- towards Cambodia, but I hate him for his crimes against Vietnam.
What crimes did Pol Pot do to the Vietnamese while Vietnamese butcher millions of Cambodian?
