I'm about to embark on a years travel through Indo China, most of my time being spent in Vietnam. As i dont plan on going celibate for the year, can anyone give me the low down on chatting up Vietnamese girls? I am guessing it is different from how we do things over here in the west (Scotland!).

... ok one thing I don't think girls in vietnam would fall for chatting ups unless maybe in a club or something. They are something.. unless you spent more time with them instead of just on the first time seeing.

Can you speak Việtnamese ?
If not, unless you're willing to pay for it, I doubt you'd get anywhere.
