I have never realized how beautiful ao dai's are - who would think an outfit that covers the entire body, from neck to toe could look so sexy? I love the way it closely hugs the body, showing off the figure of a girl, while the two flaps give her an air of elegance.

I would picture my new crush in an all white ao dai, with her long black hair resting on her thin shoulders, complimented by her nón lá that covers the top half of her face, that makes her so seductively mysterious. Alas, she's taken and has been with him for four years.

Anyway, to get back on track, lol...I did a search for "ao dai" in google and came upon this site:

How do you find the ao dai. - Do you like it or do you think it has a negative connotation for women.

Personal as a guy I think the ao dai is the pinnacle of elegance in terms of attire. Out of all the clothing on the earth there is nothing that flows like an ao dai. Made of silk it will forever reign as high class - but the beauty is that everyone wears it. It doesn't huge the body like spandex to degrade the female body and its not baggy like skater clothing.

Sometimes I say anyone who wears an ao dai is sexy - is this considered degrading to you girls!

When I say sexy - I really mean sexy according to VN / asian standards. Not slutty in the western world. Girls who are reserved, shy - you know when you catch them peeking at you from the corner of a wall or something - yeah only in my dreams - no one will ever peek at me X-( and have that oh so smooth gait in their walk that makes the ao dai glide float effortlessly after their steps - ao dai wearing chicks seem to have dropped down from the heavens - that's what I call sexy - ooohhhh - sexy - truly Con Rong "Chau Tien" - do you girls agree? - no - yes?

I used to like western girls a lot - now hmmmm???? they are no match for VN girls. (I grew up in a town where I saw only 1 Viet girl - ahhhhhhhhh - what a deprived childhood!)

i like ao dai it looks beautiful n it makes the person feel younger 2.. but the bad thing about ao dai is that, it fits so perfectly that when u happen 2 gain or lose a couple of pounds u dun look nice or wouldn't fit anymore..

That stinks! I think girls should take more pride in the ao dai (and ao tu than - that's I dig on the same level as an ao dai) and wear it more often - like sometimes to school or out around the town - trust me guys from all ethnic backgrounds fall head over heals for a girl in an ao dai not just Viet dudes.

The ao dai in the US and Canada have become "gowns" and only appear at festive events - too bad - what a waste of style!

The ao dai khan dong combo for guys is spiffy too. Personally I like Vietnamese clothing more than western jeans and shirts. When someone whether a girl or guy puts on an ao dai the words "class" and "culture" are the first things that pop in my head.

Why do I dig Viet girls more than anyone else?

1) naturally tanned skin
2) jet black hair that contrasts lovely with #1 above
3) brown eyes - the dark color enhances the illusion of depth when you stare into the eyes
4) they come from a deep and rich culture and have something to share / many natural talents from living in a rich culture
5) they wear ao dais / ao tu than
4) they speaketh the most beautiful language on the earth - I'd rather hear the terms "anh em" than you and me in English:
