So when I was in Vietnam, I went out to a club and saw many many cute girls dancing there. But everyone tells me, especially my parents, that the girls in the clubs are usually dirty girls (prostitutes) and some are even paid to go to that particular club. What's the real truth about Vietnam clubs and the whole story about it?

Is it like America, where if you wanna go out and have a good time and dance, you can just go out to the club and do your thang? Cuz from what I've heard, Vietnam's clubs are completely different from America's clubs . . .

Clubs in America are different from the clubs in Vietnam if you would use the same word to denote it. A club is served for different purposes at each places (by and large of course few exception). That is why you would find it a cultural shock when you were there. In general, the word "club" in Asia have a much more negative connotation to it than here in the States. I remember asking friends of mine (HongKong origin) about where to go clubbing in HK at their parents' house and they were all looking at me very ridiculous. I understand why after they explained to me.

Yes there are prostitutes and call girls looking for customers in nightclubs in Vietnam. I know this because I went clubbing many times and saw a few. They looked pretty highclass.

Yeah I was in Saigon but we were just out looking out for a good time and my cousin was telling me how many of the girls are paid to be there and most of them are hookers.

Is it not like America where girls will go to the club to just have a good time? Cuz the way my parents were telling me, they were saying the only reason why you pretty much go to the club is to get drunk and get laid, and if you do get laid, it's most likely gonna be a hooker and you'll have to pay her.

Went I visited VN, my family's neighbors included these two sweet twin girls. Now, 10 years later, I just heard they moved out to work in Cafe Om. Ugghh, what a waste of innocence.

my friend is always telling me about his trip to vietnam last yr.
he said at the bars/clubs, you can get whatever you want, it's all about the money..
you pay for a drink you get a drink, you want sex, you have to pay more...

thats sounds all fine and dandy, but i wouldn't want to sleep with a prostitute, no matter how pretty she is..............well ummm i might let her give me some head.. hahahaha
