My dad brought these back from his trip. I thought I'd share them with you guys. This was his third time going back.

Dad and my cousin. My dad is the taller one.

Dad and his uncle (I believe).

Dad and his girlfriend standing next to my grandfather's grave. He died we my dad was only six years old. He was a Viet Minh in the South who refused to go to the North after partitioning. He was accused of being a Communist by the Diem regime and died in detention. He was not a Communist. (According to my family)

Seperated, still legally married but it means nothing. They're too lazy to get a divorce.

I'm going to assume that's near Da Nang since my dad was born and raised 10 miles west of Da Nang and our relatives live near there.

How long did they stay together? Do you often be with the relatives of your dad or mom's side more?

Dad's relatives because they're all in town (the ones in the U.S.) where my mom's relatives are all out of state.

No offense dude, but those pics made me uncomfortable.

Almost everything spoke of death.

Do you have pictures of VN's scenery, cityscapes?

Those picture were taken in Vietnam. Does it surprise you that there are pictures of Ho there?

I know what you mean about the uncomfortable nature of some of the pics and there were some I didn't post. When my dad goes to Vietnam, it's always a family reunion type thing and never a tour so he didn't take any other pics.

Sitting like that... icon_smile.gif

I remember as a kid in school we talked about it, and the teacher *white* tried to sit like it, and told us that the whiteys cannot sit like that - well, not comfortable for them she said icon_smile.gif ... but it's good for the digestive system, because that is the natural way to sit if you have to do the #2 icon_confused.gif
