could someone do a rough translation of this poem for me? i'm not the best at reading viet...thank you in advance

Tình của mẹ muôn đời bên con mãi
Phút chào đời đến phút cuối biệt ly
Mẹ cho con dòng sữa mát xuân thì
Khi hán hạn mẹ xin bà hàng xóm

Mẹ là gió thổi mây tan từng cụm
Là bình minh rực rỡ ánh mặt trời
Mẹ đưa tay dìu dắt thuyền ra khơi
Khi sóng gió mẹ là nơi bến đậu

Nghĩ tơi mẹ xóa tan bao điều xấu
Còn trong lòng bao ý đẹp mà thôi
Con cảm ơn con có mẹ trong đời
Không có mẹ làm sao con nồng ấm!

That's a hard one... may be all of us combined together could make a really good translation, since none of us are really good at both English and Vietnamese. Right?

its really hard to translate a poem from Vietnamese to English !! plus my english isnt that good , lol sorry !!

if anyone can add to it...even if the literal translation doesn't make sense...i'd just like to know the definitions or meanings of some of the words.

yah translate viet poems into english sound really weird, i remember reading some ho xuan huong poems in english, man it just sound very awkward...

so invasion, if you want to understand the poem, it's better to improve your viet rather then relying on translated version...

mom, your love is forever by my side
the moment from birth to when I die
you gave me the young stream of milk
and asked your neighbor when there was nil

you're the wind that shatters the dark cloud
and the sun shining all around,
and the hands guiding my boat to the ocean
In stormy weathers, you're also my haven.

thoughts of you chase out bad things
and retain only my good thinking
I thank you for being in my life
Mom you made it warm and right
