how come lots of vietnamese companies and products have the name Vina? what the hell is Vina?
back in the 80s, many many companies liked to turn their company names into some thing that sounds like a Western name and Viet Nam was turned into Vina so that name just sticks till this day.

Vina is short for Viet Nam.. it's the first two letter of Viet and Nam
