don't take it a wrong way.....
these pix remind me of country or small town living where you just chill whenever and where ever you want. Vietnamese have a habit of taking a nap in the afternoon. many businesses closed in the afternoon so they can take a nap. try to do that here overseas and someone will kick on your @$$ biggrin.gif

The pic with the lady? sleeping - she's taking a nap. she put a cloth or something under her feet, can u see?
she's prolly got up very early in the morning and work till noon then take a nap. Ppl in the country get up like 4am....

^And they can sleep anywhere which is resourceful.

it's not healthy. people are taking naps everywhere. they should ban napping in the afternoon in vietnam. if you are caught napping between 6AM-10PM, you should be imprisoned.

when you're sleepy, you got to take your nap
you can't do that in the US. maybe if you're in a park or something but if you sleep on the street, ppl will think you're a homeless.

I heard we got this habit from the French.

My Vietnamese grandma told me to never take photographs of people sleeping.

I did once of her, and she tore it into pieces.

People nap in tropical countries for a good reason: the sun is really bad between 11:30 and 14:00. You have to budget your energy and work with the heat rather than try to fight it - That's why "Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun" If you fail to budget your energy level properly and use it up to fight the heat, instead of you dragging your @ss to work, they'll be carrying your @ss to work.

not suppose to take pictures of people sleeping because the person sleeping look like theyre dead in pictures. thats why its bad luck
