La Puente is awesome. Just because you got hustled out doesn't mean that it sucks. I told them to dog on Shanghai meat.

im sleepy in SF. my skin doesn't tingle, my hair doesn't feel alive. woe is me.

^Oakland is more fun. I think the problem is that some Chinese and other Asians don't befriend people of other races. Like me, I have dated Hispanic women and some of my close friends were Hispanic guys. I got to see a little bit of their community, culture and food. It is not like I am boxed in to just my Chinese culture. That ain't fun man. And, I know that is how the boredom comes from sometimes.
johnc753
damn, u r good...like me , i'm kinda racist, i can hardly befriend with hispanic..i always concern if they will steal my money or sumthin, now 100% of my homies are azn
Zeretual

Oh my name? Nah... never read it. I forgot why I picked this name... its from the 3 kingdoms period in Korea's history, I was learning about Korean history, couldn't think of a name, so ended up picking this name on another forum like 3 years ago with the intention of just browsing... and then i just kept using it without really thinking about it... oh wells.

ROTK its a book about stories in Chinese literature right? Maybe I should give it a read one day... for the longest time when someone brought it up, I thought " woah, thats weird... someone wrote a book about me???" embarassedlaugh.gif

i thoguht it meant LOTR: Return of the Kings

lmao. embarassedlaugh.gif i'm so lame.

LA is okay. it's pretty interesting. i like how it varies a lot from place to place within the LA city limits. for a while i wanted to move to SoCal b/c it looks so perfect, but meh, canada seems much better. embarassedlaugh.gif i'd rather move to some place like Québec City or Montréal or some place in Europe. apparently it costs a lot to live comfortably in california? but either way, i've enjoyed myself everytime i visited LA. great place to visit. the rich people in california are assholes, though.
AJLee613
lol i wanna get rich and move to some nice peaceful place.

i've had to much stuff happen to enjoy all that rowdy uppity chaos stuff nemore

but i like Korea town

man i miss dok bo sam

Well... yeah, people up in nor cal are less arrogant about money. I know this one guy, he's worth like 100 million+, but he rides a bike to work everyday. Not a motocycle, but a bicycle.

oh yeah i know where ur takling about. on telegraph... LOL!

nor cal and so cal are complementary, in so many ways its ridiculous. east bay is awesome for inspiration, ideas, etc... but LA keeps it real... every day. day in day out.
Asian Republic
It is quite fun down there in LA.
three_kingdoms
damm... im getting a headache... again.
three_kingdoms
man it still trips me out how different nor cal and so cal is. as soon as i get back to la, my headache goes away...

krayjee...
**J.I.S**
Is Nor Cal that bad? embarassedlaugh.gif

Better there in the summer IMO; LA is freaking hot right now. sure.gif
Chinese DesertFox
You know, I actually prefer Nor Cal. Everything moves at a slower pace in the suburbs, extremely soothing.
three_kingdoms
woops. i meant to say SF. I keep forgetting that there is a nor cal outside of SF.

east bay and san jo are pretty cool...
SofaKingAwesome
the girls are so much hotter in socal....realtalk

man its good being back in LA.

here's an interesting homicide report.

QUOTE
David Weisman, 34
David Weisman, 34, a white man, was shot by police at 5034 Cahuenga Blvd. in North Hollywood and died at a hospital an hour later, at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, March 13. Weisman also had cuts on his body.

Police said officers responded to a domestic-violence, assault-with-deadly-weapon call. No one answered their knock, so they got an apartment manager to give them a key. Inside, police said, Weisman confronted the officers with a knife. Officer Jeff Beck, 36, shot him, police said. Beck has been on the force nearly 12 years.

QUOTE
Suspect Sought in Baby's Murder
Sheriff's homicide detectives are seeking the public's help in finding 22-year-old Jared Salazar, a Bellflower man wanted for the murder of his 5-month-old son, Jared Salazar Jr., who died Oct. 8, 2006.

Detectives say Salazar beat the baby, then fled from the hospital after the child was pronounced dead there of severe head trauma. Salazar has a history of domestic violence and drug use, and frequents the areas of Bellflower, Torrance and South Bay, although police say he may have left the state.

Salazar is white, 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, and has blond hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. Michael Rodriguez at (323) 890-5579.
