Which college? 116th st or 116 Broadway? Heh I'm from Manhattan in Soho. Close to Chinatown.
It's good seeing so many fellow New Yorkers nowadays!

i dont know much about new york cause i'm new ^^--i'm a first-year at barnard college--its like on the opposite street of columbia university, but hopefully i'm transferring to yale next fall, i miss CT foliage. I really want to explore the city, but most people i know are new yorkers and they dont want to do anything. new york is a great place--oh i mean 116th street, sry i still dont know my way around here yet--its really something the way new york names its streets.
i like the subways--it does take you anywhere you want to go. since i've been here i've only been to the museum of sex (paid 9 bucks! great to be a student!) and chinatown. i want to do more exploring and get to know other people, but barnard is so "closed" that it is hard to meet new people. if anyone on this board wants to go eat viet food with me, send me a message and we'll hit chinatown together! ^^ i want to get explore the city more! oh by the way!
Oh ben! i heard that there are a lot of asians in Soho with the party scenes---can one find more asian friends there ::wink::? CT lack asians i only know like 3 in my whole life lol i want to know more about new york! lol
