that's not classic vietnamese music dude, if you read the title it's "Hongkong Medley". This is the show when they play all the foreign songs that were popular around the world.

Classic music Vietnam is something like Folk Music, Imperial music, or Trinh Cong Song music sure.gif

How come you know so much about historical Vietnamy stuff??

Classic and classical is different. Like how Madonna's "Like a Virgin" is a classic, but not classical icon_wink.gif
trunks2
it's also a song that Faye Wong sang...and sings sooo much better

That's a vnese version of the HK singer Faye Wong's famous song. It's NOT "classic Vietnamese music" whatsoever. Also, both Thien Kim & Kim Anh were wearing the Chinese qi pao because they're singing a Chinese song.

Disgrace to Vietnamese dude. Most of viet songs did not come from china.

Who told you this $hit needs to be shot. Classic Vietnamese songs are songs that were popular in the old time like the 60s-70s which predominantly were Trinh Cong Son songs. In the 80 to now because of the $hitty media restriction, there was a wave of importing chinese music.

People like you that Chinese trolls constantly going here to bash sure.gif

No don't even use "most". When you were little and now is from the 1980s at most. Classic "Vietnamese" songs are songs that are Vietnamese and popular. One song that is considered a Vietnamese Classic is Diem Xua. That shit is no way sophisticated and popular in all generation compare to Diem Xua. Seriously, I'm ticked off by your ignorance. You can't say something borrow from other country and then consider it as a classic, that's like saying the song Utsukushii Mukashi is a Japanese classic. That's a very insult to Vietnamese people since it's just a remade version of Trinh Cong Son's Diem Xua. sure.gif

ok your right, your smart, give yourself a pat in the back.
big deal, beside Vietnam entertainment is so heavyly influence by china that most viet know more about chinese history then viet history.

I cannot stand new Vietnamese music at all. It's sounds so 90s sync sounds. Give me classical ones from the 70s that my mom listens to anyday.

He's not being a smart @$$ , u are just dumb. Classic songs are Vietnamese songs from Trinh Cong Son for instant. You can say there are a lot of translated Chinese songs in Viet pop songs nowadays , but there are a lot of Viet songs also. When you are saying "MOST" it means 7 to 8 out of 10 are Chinese and that bull is not true, stop being ignorance. Kho^ng bie^'t thi` du*.a co^.t ma` nghe , ddu*`ng co' no'i chuye^.n ngu dde^? nguoi ta coi kho^ng ra cu.c cu*'t gi` he^'t

Not sure if this is the one you're looking for.

Thanks a lot. that is exactly what i was looking for. I was wondering if anyone know where I can hear the music?

try vmdb.com, they usually let you sample the songs...
i don't know if they'll have that song though
SilenceAngel
I remember The Son was singing this song in PBN 43 (??). I have the video but I don't know where my mother put it at. If you want to listen to it, go to rangdong.com . It's a free membership. Go search for The Son or the title of the song. Usually, they have all the cds from the past till the present from all productions. Good luck!
