Kieu Chinh won an Emmy for "Kieu Chinh: A Journey Home", it was a documentary.
She became famous from the movie "Nguoi Tinh Khong Chan Dung" which won in the Asian Film Festival in 1973 and of course, can't forget her in Joy Luck Club.
She's noted for her humantarian efforts as well.
