You know, during the curfew, the stranded students just slept on the floor. For me it was ok just so long as I got my tooth brush, tooth paste and tissue paper - the first few things I bought from the canteen before they ran out! When night fall came we could hear the army doing their rounds. I couldn't see them. The girls were not allowed to venture out of the building by the boys. They seemed to be very protective of their "sisters". Somehow, all the boys had a black or white head band on (can't remember which)....something I didn't quite understand. I understand some boys who attended the night's gathering in KL didn't return....
One should now understand why there are many don'ts wrt election campaigns and celeberations. Both winners and loosers must know how to behave.
