I am from Denmark ( a small country, famost for it cookies ) and here we are only about 25.000 Viets so its no so many so mostly u will only see vietguys with vietgirls here... But i have a cousin from the US there he says is normal to date every race, ethnicity and so on so is it just Denmark that we are sticking to our own kind?

alot of the Viet guys in Saskatoon go for Chinese girls
but it's definitely not race-specific dating here

Around here I see some Vietnamese dating outside of their own ethnicity. There's Vietnamese guys/girls with Chinese, Korean, White guys/girls.

I, myself haven't dated a Vietnamese girl before, but I have dated Chinese, Korean, Laotain, White, and Filipina.

It's quite common for Viets in Oz to date other Asian ethnics, but dating caucasians or non-asians are rare. When I say Asian, I mean South East and East Asians.

i dont think that you can fairly say that there's a specific racial group that doesnt like to date outside their race. i think it jus depends on the individual.

Actually I've heard Europe is a lot more flexable on inter ethnic dating.
I've dated 4 Asian guys in my life, including the one I'm engaged to (I'm white for those of you who don't know that). I dont' think there are many problems with Asian/White relationships in this country except maybe some isolated areas but not in general. I think in the US the stigma still lies with Black/White relationships, especially here in the south where I live. I dated a guy from Haiti and we had some problems, but I've never had a problem with an Asian guy.
But I agree its all about where you're from. I'm a Yankee by birth, and in the north its not so big a deal, the south is a little more picky.
I think that any area in the country where there is an influx of one particular type of minority, there is a clash.
There are areas where Hispanics and Whites have problems, Black/White, and I'm sure Asian and White as I've heard it is in some areas of Southern California.
Although, I do notice that when we run into Asian people, my fiance sometimes gets the "what the hell are you doing with that white girl" look.
But whatever, we love each other, and we don't care

where i'm from we're the only asian ethnicity that date within each other the most. others (esp females) dates whites and blacks.

Most Vietnamese in Australia still date within their own, mainly Chinese. However, Vietnamese guys/girls will date outside their ethnicity. Although it's not common. After all said and done, they normally end up marrying another asian (East, South East). I don't think the older generation is ready to except interracial marriage as of yet considering Vietnam is very confusious traditionally.

there is a growing tendency for the younger viet girls to date outside their own these days in australia. I've seen a viet girl with this dark indian guy at a tet festival (shes very pretty) and another in a hair sttyling salon. Viet guys (older) were saying wtf you doing with that black piece of $hit. sad really.

umm anyway, ive dated viet girls hehehe...i generally think they are nicer and less maintenance than chinese, japanese or whites. plus they are caring as well....some chinese chicks i dated, fu-king hell, were they HM or what.

Everyone individual is differnt and has differnt perception and perspective. Some Viets, may like date outside there Viet Culture and some Viet don't.
This goes for every single cuture in this world.
