YOKOHAMA -- Two unemployed boys have been arrested for mugging a company employee with a baseball bat, police said.
The two boys, both from Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture, hit a 45-year-old man with a baseball bat in Isehara early on Oct. 22 and then robbed him of his wallet containing 16,000 yen in cash. Hen suffered broken bones.
The two boys, 16 and 17, respectively, had formed a robbery group with several other boys. Police suspect they committed about 20 robberies in Kanagawa Prefecture since October. (Mainichi)
