Tetsu
would you go to a person's house if you weren't welcome ?

I didn't think so.

Hauren, you're beginning to sound like the ingnorant nationalists and supremacists on these boards.
huaren
Tetsu, if you are a japanese. That's fine. But if you are not a japanese, change your name and go live in Japan, you are another one who crazy about japanese culture. Open your eyes, read the news. I'm lazy to explain.

...your just realizing that he has it out for japanese people? Where the hell have you been?

As for him not going to china. I find it ridiculous that he is only now realizing that the chinese dont want him there. It would seem relation just became slightly worse.

Than let the relation become worse. Don't think that China scare your Japanese imperial like in WW2. Don't always think that. icon_smile.gif The time has changed. icon_smile.gif

Im pretty sure a significant number of people that wanted him to come.

As for me being "crazy" about Japan, no, I'm not, I like all the good things about Japan, just as I like everything good from any other Asian country.

I may be going off topic, but lay off with annoying tetsu....she's just merely a person that's open to other nationalities..it's too bad there's no more people like her (besides me)

Yes we need more open minded people like you both indeed...

are you lazy to explain, or just lazy to think?

props to Tetsu and epyzon for trying to reason with Huaren, though...
the world could use more open-minded people icon_wink.gif

it's too bad that Koizumi is not welcomed; it would be nice to see the major countries in Asia getting along better with each other
sometimes I think governments should have diplomatic assignments for celebrities to carry out
musicians and actors always get better reception in foreign countries than politicians do
but, trusting international relations to celebrities is most likely a bad idea, as well... (especially when you look at North American celebrities)
oh well

nobody so far in this thread has claimed that China fears Japan, so what's with the comment "Don't think that China scare your Japanese imperial like in WW2"? Nobody claimed they were. Secondly, to let the relation get worse? Do you honestly believe that is the best way to go? What do the Chinese have to gain from getting a bad relation with Japan? I'd like to know.

Well my moderator friend. He is a war monger. He is also a blood thirsty child that wants revenge against japan in the form of genocide (dont take it from me....read his early posts.) So of course he wants relations to worsen. He cant stand the thought of chinese and japanese getting along probably. He doesnt even want people to like japan. About the fear comment. He believes that every japanese thinks china should fear japan. Just the thought is ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous as him.

azn_pyde_viet:

That was kind of funny. Random but funny indeed.

Huaren:

Thank you. It seems you have started a change in this forum....thank you for doing my work for me. Continue with your hateful and ridiculous comments. Please. It only helps. beerchug.gif

He is one of those radicals you will only find among the Chinese nationalist ranks. They can't stand the idea that anyone can like Japan, and if they are forced to confront it, they will say that people like Japan only for prurient reasons. They are so irredeemably prejudiced and so full of pure spite that they cannot bring themselves to believe that there is anything worthwhile to like in Japanese culture.

Here's what one CN retard had to say about why Japanese culture is popular abroad:
QUOTE
it's because of the porn industry. They like the sound the Nipponese girls make when they re getting boned.
QUOTE
They only learn the language, eat sushi, learn their history to impress the female Nipponese.

Ogumo, I do want Japanese and Chinese to get along and be friend. But unfortunately is Japanese who don't want to be friend with Chinese. Take a look at your Japanese goverment. It seems every single news that related to chinese only making the situation worse.

as much as I would like to agree with that, unfortunately, there are many people that these comments are true about... sure.gif
but to actually say that about everyone in general is pretty damn close-minded

there was a poster sale on campus a few weeks ago, that happened to feature anime posters
and most of the anime posters were ecchi
needless to say, I was real impressed *sarcasm*

I think you need to control your altitude. Every post you made contains $hit, fu-k, b!tch. Only kids who use such language.

And last comment I would like to contribute to this post. From my research, I know that a lot's of non Japanese always support the Japanese. And I still don't understand why. Even some Chinese also love the japanese more. This is quite a sad situation. These chinese should not call themself as chinese. icon_confused.gif

I think you're confusing regular sex appeal with actual pornography. I'm sure these were not posters from actual hentai films, but posters of female characters in regular anime. "Sex sells" is a common marketing game. Even Hollywood and Bollywood have film posters that concentrate in part on sex appeal, but that doesn't mean that foreigners get interested in American or Indian culture from watching their respective pornography, especially if they're little kids.

That's not to say that there is not some degree of shallowness in many Americans' fascination with Japan, but to stereotype all aficionados of Japanese arts and culture (such as myself) as horny skirt-chasers is insulting.

I saw both nipple and tentacle
I have no idea how they got cleared to display those for sale, but I do know the difference between hentai art and sex appeal
so, once again...

and I'm not saying that all people interested in Japan are perverts
I'm interested in Japan, but I'm not into any of the pervert-traps
I was just saying that I know several people who are drawn to Japan in a perverted way

Here are the facts. If Japan FINALLY reconciles with its past and is sincere about building a friendship with China. We are ready for it. But if your PM is still visiting war criminals who murdered millions of our people, it seems that it is the Japanese choice to keep alive unneccesary hatred and tension.

I still cannot understand why you Japanese think the way you do. Do you think that if you honor murderous criminals who murdered millions of Chinese, that you would gain love and sympathy? It is foolish to think that Japan will ever be on good terms with China if you continue to honor our worst victimizers.
Ogumo

He is not going there for the reason to honor war criminals. He has specified this to the chinese. He goes there to honor the fallen japanese that died in the war. The shrine was not built for war criminals they were added decades later. I wish that they would simply remove them so the chinese could not complain about it anymore. They dont deserve to be there anyway. Especially since they did not die from the war. They were executed for their crimes. The presence of their corpses dishonor the entire shrine indeed.
fk650
Why don't they simply remove the war criminals and keep the rest of the war dead?

The basic problem is that there is no sincerity on Japan's part. That doesn't seem to ever change.
