uh, no. i'm not. Sex is sex. I'm not going to sit here and wait for the right person to come and sweep me off my feet to have sex with them. If it feels right, go for it...life's too short to wait for anything.
and then you get pregnant....or get an STD.
It's different these days. It's not all about how disgraceful it is anymore to have premarital sex. There is more at risk; that is, your future.
Yes, of course there are risks involved, but if the person uses their head, then it'll lessen the risk...hence condoms and birthcontrols.
Even if you wait til you're married, how are you so sure that the other person is not infected with STD?
Let's say the person got tested before the marriage took place...time passes by, they cheated...caught STD...you're infected.
Either way risks are involved. I don't know the point of me explaining this anymore...but yeah.
It's sweet that you want to wait til marriage...but that works for you not for me.
i actuallly never thought of that. good point.
but i was talking about young guys and girls, who aren't able to take care of themselves, or who are not even recognized as indpendent yet (underaged).
and, by making premarital sex acceptable allows for having sex with anyone. either your boyfriend or girlfriend of the present or the future. but who knows if you willl stay together until marriage? you might brake up tomorrow, in six months, or even in a year. then you find someone else to date, and start the process over again, and again, and again until you find that perfect somebody.
If you think that your chances of getting an STD by having lots of premarital sex is equal to not having sex until you are married, i would think again.
people only get married once, twice maybe...but you date a lot.
again, this is my opinion, i'm not trying to impose it on you or anyone else. this might not work for you, and it's cool.
i do agree that the best thing we can do...is use our heads..
