Tell me about it, Lee's change their menu so that it can be like a typical American franchise. Oh well, as long as they have my usual combo, I'm happy.

Hey...seems like a good franchise. Maybe, I'll own one someday. Oh yeah, pho and bo mere (this wrapped roll with Vietnamese sausage, peanuts, lettuce, fried shrimps... (I probably didn't spell it right)

. They got Pho Hoa in Charlotte. Not a bad franchise either.

I often envy people living in L.A. or California in general because they have more authentic Chinese or other Asian cuisines and more choices than we do here in Texas... but I guess it's better than Arizona

Arizona and Minnesota, too. But where I live is just non-Asian whatsoever. There might be some Asian markets or restaurants in Phoenix and Minneapolis, but not here.

Yeah, kind of, I saw my Mom made it a lot at home whenever I am home. First, you need some "mam" then "buon," then you're done. Add it with lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, or whatever you want, something like that, right?
Desserts? I like "nuoc mia" drink. It's so cool, the last time I drank "nuoc mia" was 5 years ago, darn!

no, that's not how you make bun mam.. that's bun thit nuong.. without the thi nuong i guess... my mom told me that you have to buy "con mam" and then go home and cook it and serve it with bun... the process doesn't sound pleasant though.
