Ngọa Hổ Tàng Long = Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon

For obvious reasons, it's considered the breakthru hit that really penetrated western & international markets.

I still watch it every now and then.

*meow*. Nice Music! Sad!

Hero. Although Zhang Ziyi's character was completely irrelevant and could have been deleted from the movie, as a whole, the way the story line was presented and at the end when it all came together, I felt it flowed very well. Loved the story. And Jet Li is just so damn cool.

I like so much of what I see from Asian cinema, so it is hard to exactly choose one over another but if I was to choose one; I would say Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The cinematography and choreographed fight scenes were phenomenal but what captured me most was the emotional depths of the acting and the talent expressed in the acting by Zhang Yiyi, Michelle Yeoh and Chow Yun Fat in the movie.

Hey Ben (you're still using Ben avatar huh, cool)

I like 'Romance of Three Kingdoms'
Reason: It's meant to be. =P

My my favorite Hong Kong Movie has to be Infernal Affairs. It's hard to choose between the first one and second one (third one is not that great). But I'll go with the first one. Because it's story is really innovative and the stars' actings were fantanstic!! My favorite HK movie in a long time!!! Go, infernal affairs!
Saint Legends
Hero, definetly. it's simply beatiful.
mikey700
King of Comedy - Because this is the first movie Cecilia Cheung starred in and it paved the way for her into the entertainment industry.

Once Upon a Time in China. This movie is the classic of HK film. It was produced in an era when the HK film industry was at its peak. Not the mention this movie is what got Jet Li mass fame. I love the movie because it is about Chinese patriotism during an era when China was in turmoil. The vitrues and principles of the main character are the morals we should be adopting today. The action and fight scenes are beautiful and entertaining. The cinematography is very accurate and you are easily taken back into the beginning of the century. Most of all, the themesong became the favorite of most Cantonese patriots. Beautiful movie.
PhortuneKooky
My favorite Asian movie is Shaolin Soccer because it was so funny.
Staticneuron
My Favorite asian movie would have to be stereo future. It has beautiful cinematography, is funny, and makes me want to watch it again roght after I finish it.
