I am moved to know many young people spend their time and energy to help victims of Katrina.

There are people from Northern and Southern California making trips to Houston to help out. There was a meeting last night here in my area. They plan a fundraising and to a make a trip to Houston soon.

No, its not just for Vietnamese. because of language and culture barriers, these flood victims are more comfortable in VN community. if your'e a victim and need rice and fish sauce, you're welcome here! 2

honestly, if i were there, i wouldnt help the blacks...

from what ive seen and heard... those black ppl are ruthless... rape/killing/stealing...
i dont care if you lost everything by hurricane... everyone in the same boat... everyone lost there crap too...

well, some blacks. i heard horrible stories in the Astrodome. Black guy raped many ppl including a 7yo VN girl and he got beat up good. they also tried to rape English female tourists. I'm glad all VN got out the Astrodome and stay in VN community. Its safe there.

i heard a story on CNN where the black gangs stock the girls in the day and at night they would go over and drag them by their hair into the washroom and rape them, sometimes even killing them. if you think it was only grown women think again, in one case there was a 6 year old girl that was raped and murdered, these savages carried this bahavior on for 3 days until shuttle buses came to relocate them. i hate to say it but i dont think any of the crime committed during this struggle will ever be solved.
