I've noticed occasionally that the expensive (and Very nice) clothes sold in American stores have the tag listed as "Made in Vietnam." Does anyone know of any shopping stores in Saigon that sells clothes similar to those sold in America but cheaper? I'd assume it would be cheaper since it's not shipped across the world and Vietnam wouldn't jack up the prices to American's money standards.

Everybody know that when you go back to VN you make sure to get a few tailor-made suits, coats, pants, shirts, etc... They are the best and very cheap there. And make sure your family there have your measurement also... just in case you need to get more and you are not there.

In Saigon, you can find those clothes in the big malls as "diamond plazza", "parkson" and I think that it's cheaper. I bought a levis' jean
50 € and it cost in France 90 €. It's expansive for the vietnamese but cheap for us =)

If you look closely on the tag of an GAP black zip up sweater like the one i have than it should indicate it was made in Vietname. The other day i took a closer look at my GAP pants and it shows that it was made in Cambodia and we all know Cambodia enforce child labor. So, i'm thinking about stop buying from GAP and especially it's pants.

Not sure who design it but I know that its a mix of Vietnamese-french colonial time fashion with the current Western style. Its goal is to mix Asian style with Western.

But I had seen American Eagle and Abercrombie 's clothes that made in Vietnam and sold in there with cheaper prices.
