Unlike chinese culture, Vietnamese culture never bind women's feet, marry its cousin (such a disgusting practice), eat live monkey brain, not to mention human fetus.
lol..i saw on TV vietnamese also eat monkey brain and some of chinese go to vietnam just for that..
that's weird, how come the pho we have in china are made from Rice....that's really weird..
Uh you do know that Monkey brains are a Cantonese dish right? Yes Monkey brains are also eaten in Vietnam but they are only eaten close to the Chinese border. I don't think they are ethnic Vietnaemse.

so in the past Cantonese people ate monkey brains in the belief this would enhance their intelligence. Although China is a country that has always excelled in the culinary arts, many old customs are undesirable to the extent of being downright disgusting.

Thankfully, there was no opportunity for me to confront what may well be the most extreme dish China has to offer - not least because it is illegal. That dish is monkey brains, eaten from the cranium of a live monkey, held in a well in the dining table with the top of its skull removed.
