to sum up the whole letter, basically Tuan is saying Phong really played Thu well and on behalf of Phong Tuan would like to say sorry etc... Phong has gone too far this time and since Tuan is Phong's long time friend he would apologize for Phong behavior and hope Thu would forgive Phong etc...

maybe you can ask your uncle or a relative & pretend you're doing it for someone you know etc... i think it should work, keep it simple...
