Why just the Viet(some)?There are Thai and other ethic groups too.
I think the best thing we can do is just have pride and remember your culture.
The only way Khmer or any other culture can be destory is oursleves. We need to keep our culture alive by learning our history, language, etc....
Khmer Krom I know where you are coming from but by putting other downs is not going to get other us anywhere. I have KHmer Pride too! But I also respect for other, I have a feeling we will be powerful again and as well as other 3rd world countries. What goes around comes around, everything has it moment. Look at the U.S., we are in soo much debt and I think it losing it powerful.

I think the best way to show pride to your people by giving them a good name. We are have pride to who we are, if you afraid to be who you are then why born? I do not seek for land but I seek for power, I just want the Khmer Krom people to known and for the world to understand their suffering from the Vietnamese regime. I seek no further but an apology by the vietnamese people just like the American apologize the Hawaiian for taking their land (History Channel).

So. Could you tell me where did the KhmerKrom come from??? What source to make you believe that KhmerKrom come from there?

I will promiss with you all that our general Khmer Cultures will be standly forever! Just a little bad time for our Khmer Leader'splans were decieved by the Viets only. I will hope to see all you have a great smiles on the faces in one day!!

But we must be reunited altogether. In order to achieve a common goal!!

In the old time, a Cambodian prince was married to a Vietnamese princess. In return, the Vietnamese government seek to establish a pupet government in the province known as Prey Nokor(today Ho Chi Minh). From there, they start the invased internally by killing all the Khmer Krom leader.

After the French gain control of the Indo-China, the Vietnamese were then claimed that that Lower Part (Kampuchea Krom or today South Vietnam) was belong to them. The French would then force the Khmer king to give away the land or died.

More stuff happen in between but I don't know the rest because of the Vietnamese law forbid the Khmer Krom people to learn their history, and language.

The fact that many Khmer Krom people was murdered by the Vietnamese leaders make the Khmer Krom people so angry at the Vietnamese people. As a result, many Khmer Krom people want to get revenge against the Vietnamese people.

Many people expect the Khmer Krom to give up and become Vietnamese themselve but Khmer Krom people will never give up. They will fight, by word or by force to let the world know their inhumane treatment by the Vietnamese government.

Yes...during the french oppression, the french just make Kampuchea Krom part of Vietnam with point of a gun. There is no way for the Khmer Krom to fight because the Vietnamese are already built a puppet government at Prey Nokor (currently Ho Chi Minh city). Only know little, not the whole details because the Vietnamese government forbid the Khmer Krom people to learn their history.
