Just wondering ... I am from Hanoi (North Vietnam) . I'm 5'7''. I was talking to my friend the other day and she said that 5'7'' is considered to be short for a guy in Vietnam !!! My old man said that i'm normal 2 I was confused ... Now to think of it, i'm quite short compared to most of my friends in Vietnam, they are mostly like 174,175 cm ( about 5'9'') .. i also khow some guys who are 180cm (5'11''). All of them are 17 just like me

i'm 5'9 well i think because vn is having a better living condition now they have more nutrition food than they used to be so they get taller. yes , no, maybe so.

I use to joke around with my Viet friend about how short they are, and he got all serious on me one day and told me that Viets are mixed in with a pygmy(sp?) race and that accounts for the short height. I don't know what the hell a pygmy race is or if it was just a bunch of crap. If you know anything about this can you clarify it for me?

Well, you are a very tall girl!!! And I'm not.. I've always thought i was 163, but i measured myself recently and i was 166/167 so at least i grew. I think my height is the average ladies' height in Australia (I THINK!!) lol.

im 5'7 , and i think thats pretty short. But Viets who were born and raised in the state are pretty tall , like 3 of my cousins which 2 are 5'11 and another one is 5'9 and hes only 15 so still growing. Another friend of mine is younger thatn me , hes 17 and stand 6'3

I'm about 3-4 inches taller then my dad, my son so far looks to be at least 3-4 inches taller then me when he grows up. Living in America will make my son maybe almost a foot taller then my dad. lol

well if you're a medium sized guy...i think you'd be intimidated if the girl was taller than you...like im 5'8...i'd feel pretty intimidated if the asian girl was 5'10....
but i would perfer a girl anywhere from 5'3-5'7...if they get shorter than that...its kinda hard to kiss nstuff

its because we dont play sport like basketball or football , or at least they dont back in 2000. Mostly soccer and that can make ur legs stop growing due to over work of the leg's muscle. If u watch korean movie, u can see the kids in highschool usually play basketball ...

Another thing is milk over there doesnt have as much calcium as in america.
