He's NOT asking the neighbours to give back any piece of land. He's only asking them to respect Cambodia's current international borders with reference to the map used by the US armies in the 60s.

And he's asking the neighbours to agree to the border demarcations using US army's map from the 60s as reference.

The ex-king is doing this because he's free to speak his mind now. The current King cannot speak on such topics because he is not supposed to talk on political issues. The king does not rule.

Consequently, Sihanouk's website was shut down for 3 days. The Khmer Institue of Democracy where Julio Jeldres, the translator of the letter, works was also affected with internet services and and telephone line being cut off unexpectedly.

Jeldres was quoted in the paper saying that "Every time the prime minister makes a threat someone gets killed or wounded by unknown gansters." He's staying indefinately in Australia now, while the ex-King has postponed his return to Cambodia hence missing the Cambodian New year.

Khmer politics can be bloody funny. It's like a rotten egg, if broken it stinks as far as Peking.

i must say rockheart is a very smart man but he like to act stupid. some of the questions he ask us in here and other forum are dum questions then he waited and see if we can answer it. heheheh..happy new year all.

The mad King I ever see. That is why Kmer lose until today. Because your leader have quality like this. Your leader do not ack reasonable. When they have a power why they lead your people to peril.

When I read this. I think this is a joke and rediculous. But the written can make Kmer people feel of of Blood flow in their body. And in the past they lead that people into war. But they never win the war. Because thier neighbor is stronger than them.

You have a Leader like this why you lose many time. And I am understand now why when Thailand has war with Burma 2 times and we become very weak at that time. I know now why Kmer King attack us. When we fight with Burma. Because they dream about their own Empire. But his act make the Thai Leader become very angry and when we finish war with burma we have to teach a very hard lesson to Kmer king. This happended 2 times in Thai history.
