There is No Goal to Regain the Throne for Absolute Rule.

The Goal of Prince Buu Chanh is to politically pressure the government of Vietnam to provide Religious Freedom and Human Rights.

Prince Buu Chanh goals are for a democratic government, and the people should be able to chose what form of government: a Democracy like France, United States, Canada or a Constitutional Monarchy like Thailand, United Kingdom, Cambodia and Spain.

Please read over the websites so that you can familarize yourself with the Nguyen Dynasty goal to bring democracy to Vietnam.

You are Correct.

There are innocent lives at stake and we must save our people and our country.

There should be Democracy in Vietnam to protect all Vietnamese, regardless of Political, Religious or Ethnicity.

It has succeded in Cambodia, where there was a Communist Government that had absolute power and there was an election, the people chose a government that was a Constitutional Monarchy and Re-Elected --TWICE--- Prime Minister Hun Sen is currently in power and he is a member of the Communist Party.

Communism and Democracy with Multi-Party system can survive the Communist Vietnamese should not worry about losing Power.

Just leave it in the hands of the People, and if you are doing a good job, You will be Re-Elected.

I just want to save the innocent people of my nation and bring Human rights to my nation.

Jim Tung Le,

Thank you for providing this excellent information about the Vietnamese Holocaust and the Royal Family of Vietnam.

Where can I find more information about the Royal Family of Vietnam's efforts to politically pressure the government of Vietnam to provide human rights and religious freedom?

I greatly admire Prince Buu Chanh's efforts to help the people of Vietnam by giving them to option to choose democracy or constitutional monachy.

I think the Vietnamese people greatly deserve to have a representative government.

Can you please provide me more information about Prince Buu Chanh, Princess Phan Lien, Princess Daiana and Princess Thuy, and their noble and selfless goals of wanting to promote freedom, overthrowing the Communist Party of Vietnam, and restoring the monarchy?

I find your information highly informative and I will be sure to spread the news among all my friends, family, and relatives to support Prince Buu Chanh's efforts to poltically pressure the communist.

Concerning about "overthrowing the Communist Party of Vietnam" the only way this will be possible is in an Democratic Elections through peaceful measures.

If the Vietnamese People chose a Communist Party member as Prime Minister this will be acceptable because it is the decision of the People of Vietnam.

For Example as in Cambodia, Prime Minister Hun Sen, is a Communist Party member and also in Russia current leader President Putin is a Former KGB Officer and Communist Party Member.

Also Spain has a Constitutional Monarchy and their current Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero is a Socialist Party member.

It can arranged for Prince Buu Chanh to visit your city and meet with the Vietnamese Community to talk about issues of social and political affairs of our country of Vietnam.

This can be arranged by emailing Chancellor Colonel Tran Van Ba at tran_van_ba@hotmail.com.

Vietnam's economy is getting better... living become more bearable than before the US saction was lifted. I know, I've been back there every year.

The future become brighter everyday... In few more years...who knows, Vietnam might be an economic miracle in SE Asia.

You know and I know, the main reason we left Vietnam was because of economic problems back there. Only very few of us left because of prosecution. But since, you couldn't get an asylum (refugee) for economic reason, most of us made-up a story of being prosecuted. It's sad... but very true. thumbsdown.gif

I disagree with you, 100%, Political Prosecution by the Communist Government was the reason of the the mass influx of refugees leaving Vietnam.

Please tell me, why until now, Vietnamese are jailed by the Communist Government because of their Political or Religious views.

Just view the photographs on the left hand corner and biographies, and it is shameful of the treatment of our fellow Vietnamese.

You stated that you travel to Vietnam every year,------------------- why dont you bring the photographs with you and ask the Police, about the status of these Political and Religious Vietnamese.

Economic stability---------- cannot replace Basic Human Rights of the Vietnamese People.

That's so true in my families case. And the rest of the community here. There was persecution here and there, but my dad he overexagerated abit. Tell them a sad story and they will feel quilty like it was their fault my dad was living like that. It worked.

Now he is just another statistic of immigrants from Vietnam fleeing because of persecution.

I hope one day in the future there will be a new order in Vietnam. Nope not one waving the South Vietnamese flag or one bearing a communist flag. It will be a new flag free of communism or hypocritical South Vietnamese who want to exploit the country using any means possible. There will be a new nationalist party that won't take crap from non-Vietnamese like Montagnards, and one that will work for the Kinh.

All ethnicities should be treated as equal in Vietnam, so the new government shouldn't take crap from any ethnicity that wants independence but should instead treat everyone as equals.

If you knew any history about Vietnam, the Yellow Flag with Three Red stripes was designed by Emperor Bao Dai in 1948, ------well------before South Vietnam, and North Vietnam was established.

The three stripes represent North,------ Central and Southern Vietnam.

Northern Vietnamese, in the Central the Montagnards and other Highland Minorities, Southern Vietnamese along with Khmers that live in the South.

Encyclopedia, History Lesson about the Flag that Emperor Bao Dai designed and was later adopted by the Republic of Vietnam.

Alot of Vietnamese-Amerians, Vietnamese in Vietnam, and in Europe as well as Australia are aware of exiled Prince Nguyen Phuc Buu Chanh of Vietnam movement to politically pressuring the Communist Government of Vietnam for Religious Freedom and Human Rights for the people of Vietnam under a Democracy where the people of Vietnam shall chose the form of government that they want to represent them.

What do you mean making up story about being prosecuted? Both my father and grandfather were put in re-educational camp after 1975. What do you call that? A four star hotel with a personal butler? Hell no! They were work to death and starve even though the food that they grow were plenty. Those bastard commies!
blacklight
Royalist rabble led by a royalist cabal. So this bunch are for freedom and democracy, but then the question is: who isn't?

The Nguyen dynasty was a disgrace, as is evidenced for example by the fact that the literacy rate post-1954 in both halves of Vietnam shot up to 90% from 30% during the colonial period. Why didn't they abolish feudalism and polygamy and push for education when they were in power? It is quite likely that the Nguyen dynasty's retrograde, reactionary outlook was so useful to the French that they allowed them to keep the throne. In other words, the Nguyen dynasty was an asset to the French in the same way that Yassir Arafat was an asset to the Israelis.
Virvs
Well, so they want to overthrow the communist regime so that they can place a royal puppet on our head? How ironic...

The majority of Viets NEVER respect their kings and leaders, throughout their 1,000 years of monarchism. Viets were famed for their rebellious characteristics, and Viet monarchs never had the divine power like their Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, or Khmer counterparts. Having get rid of the monarchy since 1945, I don't think Vietnamese people want it to be back.

Originally, this topic was about supposedly Vietnamese Holocaust...

And the "yellow flag supporter" who started this provided / posted some of the pics to sites belong to Christians and Human Right Groups... The Pics supposedly taken from "Re-education Camp" to show how brutal the Viets were/are... All this was to persuade ppl to call their congressmen to keep the sanction and stop normalizing relationship with VN... This showed how low the yellow flag supporter would go to keep VN poor.

Here are some of the pics that the yellow flag supporter posted:
