According to me, she is rather praised by the French critics because Frenchmen like annoying films. In Vietnam - independently from her talent - she is little known because Vietnamese people aren't fond of the films featuring her , people prefer entertainment films, not these "psycholological dramas" in which she played. Anyways, local productions don't attract a lot of people in Vietnam.
