That's it. You're done.
Prince Buu Chanh or whatever his name is doesn't do much for Vietnam. Instead of using all his money traveling around the US and Europe criticizing the Viet government for abusing human rights, what he should have done is using that money and build a school, some classrooms in Vietnam to help those poor children to class.
He can always hire someone in Vietnam to look after the school and making sure that the money goes to every children in Vietnam!
Instead of doing those things to help Vietnam, the family thinks this is the 18th century and continues to make laws and orders like they are the royals of Vietnam. I am just sick and tired of looking at those Buu Chanh pictures and his family.
Screw the 3 stripes flag.
And you too Hanoi! Wake the fu-k up! At least pick a side: 1. US, 2. China.
Hanoi should realize that they are not that powerful to combat the Chinese expansion, and they should stop being so proud of themselves for beating the US. Standing alone isn't going to help Vietnam. Hanoi should just realize that already! Playing politics isn't that hard, and it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out who's causing more trouble to Vietnam.

Just a random commentary, but Im afraid those pictures put up by the Montagnard Foundation are lacking in context. I am not positive, but I believe what they describe as Death Camps for christians are in fact incorrect. The pictures are almost certainly not recent, and probably date from some stage in the Vietnam war. There are a few noteable features that one can use to estimate the context of the photographs. One, note the helmets on the guards. Those are military style pith helmets originally designed by the French, which are not used today. The most likely time when they were used was during the war years when equipment was essential and leftover French surplus equipment was used to equip rear line forces(In this case the soldiers) while frontline soldiers used the newer soviet inspired helmets. The second noteable feature are the prisoners themselves. If you will notice, they are all more or less able bodied men, with no women or children or elderly in site. Now it could be argued that this is still a death camp for Christians and they just have the population divided elsewhere. However, the more my probable explanation is that these black and white photos are quite old, and are of a POW camp inside North Vietnam during the war.
This could still be a contemporary death camp for Christians, but there is nothing that verifies this beyond the statement by the Mongtagnard Foundation. On the other hand, there are a number of observations that point to these images as being historical photos of NVA PWO camps.

wasn't bao dai a puppet? a french and japanese puppet to be more precise.
can someone explain to me pls... how is monarchy and democracy compatible?
about vietnam,
it's not a closed and mysterious country any more... you can go back there without any prob. your family and your friends there would love to see you again. it'll be fun there and you'll always feel that you belong there. you can even fly there using United Airlines. it's not that expensive.
while you there, you might want to visit the "Death Camp" mention here... be advised through, you might not find any. but no worry, you can still visit cu chi tunnel.
the only "Death Camp" i found in hcmc (dist 1) is called Bong Seng. i suggest you stay at new world (dist 1) or equatorial (dist 5) or better yet... stay with your family there.
