I play 1.6 and tried Source at a friend's place. I prefer Source graphics wise (obviously) but I would lean towards 1.6 gameplay wise. Source is too easy; two shots and you die. 1.6 requires more skill.

Still a fun game nonetheless

In the game, u can use some cheatcodes to make the game easier.
In CS 2, u can creat bot with the Intelligent index is about 1 or 2, they will never shoot right to you.
But if you play with others, I think there's no way help u. Just pratice 4 hours a day, ur skill will boot up.
(I want to ask if anyone play cs on Internet. Because I can't play on internet. When I sign in the room, my the game ask me my cd key again, but never signed me in, Explain for me)

Anyone can play. Just do what IYIiDWeSt_T.S.I3 said. Create a new account. Close steam. Apply the patch and thats it your done. Its like having the Gold package off steam. I can host the patch and post it if any of the mods dont mind

I have half-life 2, but I didn't like counter strike that much. I'm more until fantasy multiplayer shooters like Unreal Tournament or military ones like Battlefield: Vietnam.
