hoagie - you use a long hoagie bun then cut it then add in ham, meat mush, carrots and a lot of azn stuff.

vietnamese bread is original french bread that has vietnamized for a hundred year. Therefore, it's considered viet bread.

My grandma would go to the local Vietnamese bread shop every morning and buy a bag of 5 for $1. It's good eating with omelette and soy sauce.

It's actually very popular in Vietnam and Vietnamese people. You cook an omelette or two (not too cooked) with some butter, then put some soy sauce in and some pepper on the omelette. You then dip in with Vietnamese bread and oh hell it's yummy.

never have that before.. in China we have that stuff called 油条 you tiao(that's what i pop up on my mind when u said dipped with soy sauce), we fry it..and dip with soy milk or soy sauce..it is good ..

Bánh mì just means bread...any kind of bread. The Vietnamese/French bread is called bánh mì ỏ. I think that's how you spell ỏ.

pho-man, hehe it's ca` phe^ su*~a (or xu*~a -dun remember if it's spelled with an "s" or "x")... means coffee with milk, kinda like a coffee frappuccino at Starbucks.. but by the way, I like ba.t xi?u (sp?), which has a lot more milk n just a little bit of coffee. hehe

I'm Chinese, but I like to eat Vietnamese food. And yes, the bread's delicious. It's not just some plain bread...there's actually a scrumptious taste to it. What do they add in it?

i think bread is just mi, but people add banh in it.. we add banh in everything,, banh beo, banh cookie, lol, banh bao xa xiu, banh trung thu... but i also think mi is used for noodle too,, we use mi (mi goi) and bun (mi pho, bun, pho)for noodle. and mi for noodle and bread lol.. vietnamese these days, weird as hell.
