Hwin

That's the best I can do lol
Rappapa
Actually you don't pronounce the H. It's just...win with the third pronounciation in hanyu pinyin (v)
Preydominator
That is the chinese way, not vietnamese. He asks for the vietnamese way to pronouce it right? We do pronouce the first H.

Excuse me, it's the Vietnamese way.

When you read it formally you pronounce it hwin.

When you speak it you always pronounce it as win.
sonnet113
You pronouce Quynh "win"
Huynh does does have a hard "h" sound.

sorry to correct you.. but on "Hey Arnold".. The Viet guy in the boarding house is named Mr. Nguyen.. it's just.. the Americans cannot pronounce it correctly, so they say Mr. "ngwin"

Sorry my friend, but don't infer vietnamese pronounciation from chinese. You're pretty far away from standard pronounciation.

...
By the way , I just remember the last time I was in Vietnam , taking a tour with an old Chino-Vietnamese man ( one of those who never attented vietnamese school) who told me about the present he offered to his girl:

"Ngộ goa hồng công mua cho con ngộ cái cà lá tẹp lắm , lầy lá xanh lá lỏ...." My friend and I understood almost this sentence but we were clueless for the last phrase "lầy lá xanh lá lỏ".... "lá xanh lá lỏ còong có hột xoàn nữa đó" He repeated and then my friend got a genius lightning: She explained that the old man meant "đá xanh đá đỏ" for rubis and emerald. We have got a big laugh together because we had just checked what we had heard about how chinese speak vietnamese.
