Hi there,
how do you translate "contract of employment" properly in VN?
Maybe you can translate the whole sentence for me:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My contract of employment is only valid as my residence authorization is valid. But my residence authorization can only be renewed as far as my passport is valid. My passport is only one more year valid. I'm about to work at my current employer at least 5 years. Because of that I intended to renew my passport now, despite the fact that it's still one more year valid, so I can have a residence authorization that's longer valid than one year and thus request an contract of employment that's longer valid than just one year. I hope I could put my point across.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks in advance.

I don't think you need to worry too much about the need to renew your passport early 3rr0r. Since it's fee-based, I'm sure they'll always gladly do it for you. Another thing is that I'm not sure if they still do renewal nowadays. Seems like they only issue new passports now.
Anyway, here goes:
I changed the meaning of "I hope I could put my point across." a bit, because that sentence itself is not as nice when you're requesting something. Another thing is that if you're very young (early 20s), you can use the word "cháu" instead of "tôi". It sounds more casual but warmer than the cold "tôi".
