You are delusional if you really believe in what this guy is saying. China will go to war if Taiwan declares independence under US's support? The world knows and China knows it has 0 chance of victory and its economy will go back to stone age. This video is about a crazy dude who gets mad at the interviewer for no apparent reason chest pouding

^ Actually, that is false.

History has shown this to be the case:

US President Eisenhower once threaten the British Primer Minister Eden, that the US will send the British economy down the drain by ruining the British Sterling Pound if the British did not withdraw from the 1979 invasion of Suez Canal.

Of course, as a major debtor to US, the British quickly withdrew from Suez invasion.

Wikileaks has confirmed China already used the massive US debt holdings to pressure against US arms sales to Taiwan of F-16 fighters.

China will literally destroy the US economy if US intervenes in Taiwan, through the use of selling dollars, just like Eisenhower threatened her British ally in 1979, by ruining the British sterling pound.

actually advances made on the ASBM could stop the US from supporting taiwan. in a few years, the US expects china to have complete sattellite coverage of the south china sea, or 2500 KM from its coastline. this will guide the ASBM to whatever target they choose, in this case, a US carrier. and destroy that $hit is a second. no exageration here as it goes mach 10 speed.

the US carrier group will be unable to support taiwan, and there we go, part of the family once again. sure our economy will suffer, but like the dude said in the video, we have to rebuild it. we got from communism to worlds second biggest economy in 30 years. we can do it again, no sweat.

Dude, KMT in Taiwan lost in the Mainland.

What makes you think they can protect a dinky island if they lost the Mainland.

Because they already won many battles over that little island if you know your history. Chinese aren't going to swim across the straits.

Sha Zu Kang, while he has many good points, sounds like a raving lunatic. lol. Its sad that a government official would say that a piece of land is more important than its citizens. At the same time, it probably is self defense although I really don't see any reason any country would want a war with China. This is just war mongering talk.

Tell me which powerful country in the history of time has not been ignorant. Grow up and learn some context.

The Chinese Diplomat was not terribly diplomatic. But he got his message across and he meant it.

This is the same guy that gave UN Secretary-General Monkey Moon a piece of his mind.

Should an undiplomatic person be allowed to continue as a diplomat? I believe it is dangerous and could precipitate something very serious that the mother country did not want.

I agree with the Chinese diplomate about the U.S. "They should just shut up and stop accusing other country of their wrong doing." I think China should used Laos an example of U.S envolvment during the Secret war in Laos and Vietnam war. Because the U.S failed and hate talking about Laos secret war. Which is why you don't hear much from them American or U.S Government talking about it.

I believe he's talking about how the US got the Hmong to raise a large army to fight against the North Vietnamese. Then when the war ended, the US abandoned them while the Laos government cracked down on the rebel force. They're actually still being hunted down today.

That diplomat is still a psycho though and shouldn't be in his position.

it's just rhetoric. we all know china is not stupid enough to take any military action over taiwan. i don't think taiwanese are stupid either to do anything or the sort. only the americans stupid in believing that they can actually play the two against each other. china-taiwan relations are on a roll right now. the cross-straight trade and movement are very thick and this will only become even more intense as china becomes more developed. at the core both sides just care about the economy. and china is willing to give taiwan certain degree of autonomy (hence their two system one country concept). the US has absolutely no right to interfere in this issue. they should just stfu and mind its own business.
