I just realised that those facking stupid director being addicted with the stupid lovey-dovey movies which i hate the most , this is a movie made 15 years ago... and it is as good as hell even more than those HK Action Movies , and its only release as DVD, i can't found it.... but if you can find it on the store, please upload it...:

It seems like the number of people who go watch Cánh Đồng Bất Tận is way more the number of people who go watch KVTL. Was it because Cánh Đồng Bất Tận advertise themselves better???

If they bring themselves to the US, I'll buy the ticket immediately. And I'll watch it over and over and over again just to support them lol.

Canh Dong Bat Tan probably gained more because of familiar actors and sex scenes lol.

What we need now are very good actors or movie stars. Then later on when the viewers trust the quality of Vietnamese made
movies they'll begin to watch more artistic movies.

Just look at China and how they use famous people for their historical movies, like Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Takeshi Kaneshiro etc etc.
Vietnamese just began making historical movies and dramas so we can't expect Vietnamese people to be as interested in them.
Most people probably are stressed out and rather waste their money on very good American/Korean movies or funny Vietnamese
comedy romances even if they suck.

It's also due to our marketing and promotion. We don't have good P.R.

They'll probably release the movie though. Thoi Hung Vuong 18 probably didn't get to dvd because there's a small amount of
potential customers in the states. Or maybe they didn't make enough profit from the movie to have it distributed to dvd.

Don't worry, at least i heard that is: in this year 2011 there will be a historical movie, i don't know more than that, but all thing i can do now is hope...
