It seems as if all we talk about now is "How hot vietz R!", "Rate this b!tch", "Rate that b!tch", "That ugly @$$ b!tch is 'Perfect'", and $hits like those. Let's discuss racial issues, and other worthwhile things related to Vietnam like before instead. beerchug.gif

I knew it.. I accused you of this before and you kept acting like you were innocent.. Now I finally caught you. icon_twisted.gif

That was months ago though, now I'm all innocent and sweet.

I agree. It was indeed a lot of fun reading the threads back then. Still, if it opted to nothing but flamewars, then begone it should be. And yes, the 'rate my pretty eyelashes'-threads aren't exactly my cup of tea. Oh well, such is life.

So devilish, what kind of topics do you want to see in Viet Chat? Any ideas?

Exactly, that's why I don't usually [or never] participate in topics like those, "rate this girl, who's prettier, who's hotter..." and so on. And I especially don't like it when people rate other people and make fun of people of how they look. Pretty boring.

Racial issues are okay, but to an extent, it should be stopped. I like history, that's the first thing I joined in this forum.

ddha: I enjoy reading threads about Vietnam's economy, politics, history, wars with other ethnic groups, etc, etc... icon_smile.gif I can read about them @ LV, but I prefer it on AF.

How about Vietnamese entertainment...like Viet music (younger generation type music) and movies?

Let's start with music.. what do you guyz think about it? For me, I find it somewhat disappointing. Every time I watch a new music production I'm always hoping for something new and different but it's always the same stuff over and over again... and if there are any new songs that are any good.. they usually turn out to be copyright violated English songs or Chinese songs... and now, Korean songs! Their dancing is another embarrassment... especially singers in Vietnam.. icon_sad.gif *sign*

Now for Vietnamese movies... I've seen some movies from Vietnam... they're improving in terms of trying to write storylines that are more modern... but the acting still need LOTS of improvement .. and even the way the movie is put together needs work... kinda choppy. Anyways, there's a new Viet movie that I'm really looking forward to seeing cuz it looks like it's got potential ... it's called "Nhung Co Gai Chan Dai".. the movie trailer looks really interesting. Hopefully it's not a disppointment.
