I come from a foreign country where American things such as the MLB, NFL are popular..and yes NASCAR. They once raced at Suzuka in the 90's There is a bronze statue of the late Dale Earnhardt at Suzuka in honor of his 2001 death. Maybe one day it will be international sport like Formula 1. I have been to California Speedway. I thought and seen NASCAR as boring and unenlightning, much less a sport..I say it's a sport much as anything else..You have to have the physical endurance to be in those cars surrounded by baking hot sheet metal and hot asphalt for 4 hours that would be hard..I had a lot of fun and would say I am growing to like it no matter what opinions some may have.

...And I watched the movie "Days Of Thunder"

That's pretty much the same reaction I get. It's pretty boring having to watch them do the same thing over and over again.

But hey, I guess it'd be more exciting if you were a NASCAR driver.
